Plastic Fleet - Near Harbour Race

So if you have had a go at the SCR/PF racing in the channel and wondered what it is like to go racing out in the deeper water beyond the limits of Thorney Channel .. then come along to this one off raceday at the end of the season, and lets venture out together. The waves are a little larger, the distance between marks is a lot longer and the race will also last longer .. but because everyone will be in boats of similar speed, no one will get separated and there will be lots of close battles within the fleet. As usual there will be full safety support on hand throughout.

The race will last for approx 90 mins and be based around the nearby marks in what we call the Middle harbour ... the aim is to give SCR/PF sailors who havent ventured out of the channel .. just a taste of what is out there, take away the fear factor, and maybe give you the confidence to go on and have a try at a long course race.
