Cruising Library

Need to do a passage plan? and your Almanac is on your boat Don't panic!

We now have an Almanac at TISC for you to use in such a circumstance..

The Almanac is a loose leaf variety, so it will also be possible for you to borrow just the section you are needing (there are some white ring binders to use for this.) However, we would like any borrowing to happen only during week days and not at weekends, This will ensure that the Almanac will be complete and available for use on-site at the weekends.

The longer term plan is to build up a cruising library of pilot guides and charts that people can sign out, This will include cruising areas beyond the Solent. If you have any requests or views then please email cruiser.events@tisc.org.uk with details and we will compile a wish list. Also if you have any charts or guides that you no longer use and would like to donate these to the club then please also let us know
