Amazon Alexa Skills
There are a number of Alexa skills (apps), that provide information about TISC that members may find useful if you have an Amazon Alexa or Amazon Fire TV.
Tide Info
“Alexa, ask Tide Info to set default location to Chichester Harbour”, you can then ask “when is high tide”.
After initially setting the location you can then invoke by asking things like
“Alexa, open Tide Info” or “Alexa ask tide info when is Low tide on Saturday”
Thorney Conditions
“Alexa, open Thorney Conditions” and it will respond with the current wind speed
You can then ask things like “what direction is the wind”
Thorney Webcam
“Alexa, open Thorney Webcam” and if you are using a device with a screen, such as an Amazon Echo Show or and Amazon FireTV it will show you the current Thorney Webcam Image.
