Instructor Development: SOPs and Safeguarding

Before undertaking any instructional duty TISC instructors must be familiar with the club standard operating procedures (which include our Safeguarding policy), and must have signed to say they understand and will adhere to them. Instructors should be sufficiently knowledgeable of the SOPs that if they were approached by our RYA inspector (on the day of our inspection) they would be able to answer any questions on our policies.

This instructor development session is a 30 minute briefing on the key points of the club standard operating procedures. It includes the opportunity for discussion and challenge so we can use feedback to improve the SOPs.
