Marchwood Cruise Cruise Ships, Containers & a Whole New View of Southampton!

If you've never ventured into Marchwood before, you're in for something delightfully different from the usual Solent marina experience!

Tucked beside an industrial park and perched at the top of Southampton Water, Marchwood offers pontoon berthing for around 20 boats with front-row seats to the container Portand you'll be right on the edge of the turning circle for cruise ships making their grand departure. In other words : there's almost always something big, impressive, and camera-worthy cruising past!

We have access at all states of tide, and with high water at 09:15 on Saturday, we'll set off shortly after to enjoy a friendly push from the tide up the Solent. Expect a bit of a tussle with the last of the ebb up Southampton Water, but we'll still be arriving comfortably between 13:00 and 15:00 perfect timing to settle in and get ready for a pontoon party at 18:00!
After that, we'll roam up to the club at 19:00 for dinner.

The Marchwood club is a brilliant, welcoming venue run entirely by its members, and they're always delighted to host visiting yachts and rallies. Their fantastic catering team will be laying on a delicious dinner with a set menu (usually 34 tasty options), with details to come closer to the date.
