Renewals are Now Open

Renewals are now open. Closing date is Sunday Friday 27th February to ensure we get the membership cards printed and sent out on time. Late renewals will be charged £60. Renewal is not automatic even if you have GoCardless
If you are not renewing , please let me know as early as possible as we have a queue waiting to join.
Any membership changes including military/civilian, single/family, student and any additions please email me asap. If young family members become 18 before 1/4/26 they are eligible to become student members but must be in full time education.
When you log in please take the opportunity to review your profile to check it is up to date with your current address, email and phone number. Please also provide emergency contact details if not already provided. Adding a photo of your boat in the Dinghy Park would also be very helpful.
Working duties have now been sorted and if you have not done the required number you may owe TISC a fee in lieu of duty. This and any other debts will need to be settled to complete the renewal. I will take the fees for missed duties and other payments when you renew.
Please contact me if your payment might be held up for any reason. If you are not sure whether you have paid then check Invoices in the Members Portal. GoCardless payments may take 10 days before they are marked as paid.
Mooring holders, all of you paid in November.
Donations. these can be made when you renew and every amount regardless of size is appreciated.
With the exception of those who are unable to negotiate the website, everyone else should log-in and confirm they are renewing as outlined below. This applies equally to members who don't pay any fees.
Cheques must be written to ASA-Thorney Island Sailing Club otherwise the bank will reject it.

Please contact me and I will email you an invoice. This is for the few senior members who are unable to log-in to the website . Even if you are paying by cheque I still expect most of you to confirm your renewal on the website.

Login In | Then click on Profile and Membership |
In Profile & Membership click on My Renewals | Tick both boxes I agree to club rules etc + Renew this membership |
In each Berths/Boat Park Renewals | tick either Renew this Dinghy/Tender/Outboard/Winter Cruiser Park place or I will not be needing this place If you want to add an additional boat , please contact Jonathan Dannatt dinghypark@tisc.org.uk as there may be a waiting list for spaces Email me if your dinghy/ Tender/Outboard shed space or Winter Cruiser Park space does not appear on the renewal page |
Then Click RENEW SELECTED at the bottom of the page which will light up after you have ticked all the boxes
You will then be asked to Confirm Changes, you will have a chance to amend it at this stage
You will then see your total Invoice and be asked to choose a payment method
If you find a rogue or incorrect invoice or have made a mistake please email me. I can sort it out at my end. Remember I have 2 days to cancel a Gocardless payment.
If you paying by cheque then please email me but only after you have confirmed your renewal in the Members Portal.
Gocardless - a few notes
Payment is by a one off direct debit ,
You must authorise Gocardless and enable automatic payments, You will be given 3 days warning before the money is taken from your bank..
The payment goes through only after I click the charge button.at my end.
If you make a mistake , contact me and I will cancel the payment for you. Please don't cancel it yourself as it mucks up the database and the upsets Eddie our treasurer. Refunds via GoCardless are easy to arrange.
