Murder Mystery Night

Published 12:56 on 15 Jan 2023
Saturday 4th March
At Joe's 21 Speakeasy Night Club
18:30 22:30
You are invited to a 1920-30's themed Murder Mystery night which is being led by the Torchlight Mysteries company.
The scene is set at the time of Prohibition at Joes 21 Speakeasy night club, aka Thorney Island Sailing Club. Popular for it's great Jazz singers, its selection of illegal cocktails and gambling this is a secret drinking club who only people with the right connections and password are able to get past the bouncer at the door.
There will be cocktails, live music from the clubs resident singer, food and of course some mysterious happenings and a murder which you will be invited to solve.
Everybody coming is invited to dress for the era of which I have no doubt that people will oblige with splendour. Flappers' Great Gatsby and Gangster outfits will be the atire of the night.
In order to keep the cost at a reasonable level we will have the usual American supper with people with surnames beginning with A-K being asked to provide a savoury dish and the rest asked to bring the deserts.
Tickets are priced at £18 per person which includes a free cocktail when you arrive, live music and of course all the fun of a Murder Mystery.
You are advised to book early as the tickets will be limited.
