June Sail Camp

Published 07:21 on 2 May 2018
The first of this year's popular sail camps will be held over the weekend of Friday 1st June to Sunday 3rd June.
The programme for the weekend is to follow, you don't have to join in the activities but please request a space via this link if you want to camp as space is limited.
What do I need to bring?
You will need either a tent or a caravan to stay in and access to a boat to join in the sailing activities. You will also need food for the weekend – there will be an additional fridge in the workshop to provide additional food storage.
A small donation of £1 per head is requested to cover overheads such as tea, coffee and milk etc. The BBQ will be lit both nights for you to cook your own food if you wish and the bar will be open in the evenings. There are bound to be treats to toast over the fire pit. If recent unseasonably warm weather is an indicator of what we can expect this summer sun cream is advised! As the local mosquitoes can be pretty feisty in the evening insect repellent is also recommended.
Sailing Activities
We will take advantage of every opportunity to get out onto the water over the weekend. Our harbour 'escapade' on Saturday will take in the sights of Chichester Harbour. A safety boat will be provided on Saturday.
Children remain parents' responsibility throughout the weekend.
