Battle of Britain Cocktail Party

The Battle of Britain Cocktail Party is our major social event to host visitors from the harbour clubs, the Conservancy, local council representatives who support the organisations which manage the harbour, and the Army Sailing Association.
Club cocktail party will take place on:
Saturday 14th Sept between 6 pm and 8 pm at the clubhouse. The party will start at 6pm and finish at 8pm, and members and their guests are invited to attend and host our official guests. Club members should arrive by 5.45 so as to be clear of the gate before the guests arrive as there will be some congestion anyhow.
Unfortunately we have been turned down for a Spitfire again this year. Possibly because of the centenery of the RAF meant there were more demands on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. But we will have a Jazz group as we did last year.

We have invited a number of guests from the local sailing community and the Chichester Harbour area to the party and this is our chance to thank them for their help over the last year and cement some goodwill for the next!
Dress code will be lounge suit or blazer and equivalent.
The cost for members this year will be £12 which will include canapés and wine.
