Spring Sail Camp

The first of this year's popular sail camps will be held over the weekend of Friday 17th May to Sunday 19th May 2019 (we have also set a reserve date of 7th -9th June in case of bad weather). The programme for the weekend will follow via email for those who book. You don't have to join in the activities but please book via the link on the website if you want to camp as space is limited.,

What do I need to bring?

There is a small charge of £1 per camper, regardless of age or length of stay. You will obviously need either a tent, camper or caravan to stay in and a boat to join in the sailing activities (club boats will be reserved for On The Water activities). You will also need food for the weekend – there will be an additional fridge in the workshop. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided. The BBQ will be lit both nights for you to cook your own food if you wish and the bar will be open in the evenings. There are bound to be treats available to toast over the bbq. If recent unseasonably warm weather is an indicator of what we can expect this summer, sun cream is advised! As the local mosquitoes can be pretty feisty in the evening insect repellent is also recommended.

Sailing Activities

We will take advantage of every opportunity to get out onto the water over the weekend. Our harbour 'escapade' on Saturday will link up with the On The Water activities. On Sunday campers will be free to follow their own programme.

Children remain parents' responsibility throughout the weekend.
