Cruiser Rally to Bembridge

Here are the details for the Bembridge Rally. We very much look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. This will take the same form as in previous years, with a DIY BBQ in the marquee on the first evening and free time the following day to do your own thing, either separately or in groups.

Bembridge Facilities
We will all be staying at Duver Marina which has been built for rallies, see Duver Marina Layout. (Wi-Fi and electric included). The visitors rates can be found here: Visitor Rates for Berthing, and as a rally we get a 10% reduction if yachts are rafted together. In order to promote the stand-alone 'local community' atmosphere for rallies , Bembridge has, by dredging, created an area on their visitor's pontoon which is dedicated to booked rallies. This area can take up to a maximum of 25 boats. Individual finger berth bookings still remain available however will not benefit from the 10% discount to availability. The on site Duver Cafe Duvercafeiow have also introduced a special discount deal for Rallies visiting the Duver Marina.

Format of Rally
Fri 16th May: Those who are departing from TISC will depart at times of your choice. We will have a self help BBQ at 1930 (bring your own food to cook and whatever you want to drink. We will be under the marquee).

Note: Depths over the bar are updated every 60s at www.Bembridgeharbour.co.uk.

Sat 17th May: will be doing as you please. Some will want to walk, I would be most interested in seeing other boats and other peoples "good boat ideas for comfort and ease" particularly as my boat has little comfort!. Evening of the 5th will be a casual sit down dinner at the Brading Haven Yacht Club.

Sun 18th May: Some will depart.

To book onto the rally please:

1. Click on the 'book' button below and enter the details requested. You will receive an immediate email to acknowledge the booking and then a second email within a couple of days to confirm the booking.
2. Book your berth at Bembridge using the On line booking form and use the code TISC165 (Tango India Sierra Charlie 165) to get your 5% discount (don't use the code if you want a finger berth rather than rafting). It is important to do this ASAP to secure a berth. All Rally members should book online, using the Rally Code, by the closing date of 25th April 2025 (3 weeks before the arrival date).
