Sail Camp

Friday 16th May until 18th May

These are informal weekends where members can pitch a small/medium tent or small caravan on the club lawns and enjoy the club and Chichester harbour without the need to return home. Cruiser owners have also joined in at past sail camps and have stayed onboard and are more than welcome.

We will light the BBQ on Friday evening, camper would like to BBQ their food.. On Saturday there will be the On the Water session which you will need to sign up separately for on the TISC website. There will also be a pub-style quiz on Saturday night and we have fish and chips together. There will be a Sail Away on Sunday in company to explore the harbour either in your boat or by hiring a club boat. We will endeavour to provide some safety boat cover but sailors need to be confident in the planned escapade. Alternatively, if you would rather join the other club racers you can join the Camber series race. Please see the website for details.

Just to re-iterate this is NOT a formal Training session, but an opportunity for members to sail together to enjoy the club and the harbour.

Please register on the Thorney Club website indicating which days you will be camping and how many adults and children are in your party. Numbers are strictly limited for this, so this event is for members nly.
