Powerboat Level 2 (3rd & 4th May)
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is a two-day entry level course which gives an introduction to powerboating. There is no requirement to have done a Level 1 powerboat course beforehand. This course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC). The majority of the course will be spent driving the club RIBs but on the afternoon of day 2 students will apply their newfound skills to the club Jaffas. This is the minimum course members require to be able to drive the club powerboats in support of club activities.
