Dinghy Instructor course

We are running a Dinghy Instructor course on 22nd July 2024. We need 6 students to keep the cost down to a reasonable amount, although we may be able to make up the numbers by inviting members from other clubs in the harbour, as we have done in the past.

The cost has yet to be decided but will be about £200 to £220. This is significantly less than at other clubs but the expectation is that the instructors will help with training..

A deposit of £50 will be taken shortly after booking.

The pre-entry requirements for the course are:

• You must be 16 years old or over by the 22md July
• Powerboat L2
• First Aid
• The RYA Safe & Fun safeguarding course (which can be done online through the ASA)
• Sailing pre-assessment

We hope that anyone attending the course will help out with Junior Week which will be the week commencing 5th August. This will give new instructors the opportunity to practise with support from more experienced DIs and SIs.
